Through the 1950s and 1960s, and running alongside production of the gothic horror films, Hammer made a series of what were known as "mini-Hitchcocks" mostly scripted by Jimmy Sangster, and directed by Freddie Francis and Seth Holt. These low-budget suspense thrillers, often in black-and-white, typically had a twist at the end of the tale. [Wikipedia]

A short mock-vlog film explaining and defending the concepts behind the fictional 'Death To Straight White Men 2017' clothing brand. Edited in a way that mocked the trends of Youtube vlogging and apology-videos of the time, including sound effects and interjected fast-moving graphics. The research spans from topics like the cohabitation of different human species, the prehuman, the posthuman, to domestication and the numerous animal watching webcams found in zoos and online. Missing Link reflects on the intimacy between the species and how it can be expressed through movement here and now. "

Doors of the railway-cars open and attendants help passengers off and on. Popular legend has it that, when this film was shown, the first-night audience fled the café in terror, fearing being run over by the "approaching" train. This legend has since been identified as promotional embellishment, though there is evidence to suggest that people were astounded at the capabilities of the Lumières' cinématographe.
