Tiago Guedes returns to Dennis Kelly, the British playwright with whom he has already enjoyed success in his dizzying descent into the depths of human complexity. After Órfãos, the director and stage director now tackles The Ritual Slaughter of Gorge Mastromas, a 2013 text about the banality of evil in the person of the man that Kelly's play scrutinizes in retrospect: "Existence is not what you thought it was until now. It is not honest, it is not kind, it is not fair. Most of the world has no idea about this; they believe in God, or Daddy, or Marx, or the invisible hand of the market, or honesty, or kindness. They go through life with their eyes closed, getting beaten up and screwed over. He's like that. You're like that. But a tiny part of us, let's call ourselves the resistance, knows the true nature of life. The world is ours for the taking. We are powerful and rich and have everything, because we will do whatever it takes.

"Man Hastam" is a unique adaptation of the Ferdowsi's tragic drama "Rustam-o-Sohrab". The play opens with Shah of Turan, Afrasiyab who is guided by the Prophet Paisgoh in an attempt to retain his throne. Raised in darkness, Sohrab is unaware of his genuine lineage and turns into a soldier looking for his father, whom he believes to be the finest of all warriors. Under Paisgoh's direction, the Shah stages a fight between the legendary Persian hero, Rustam, and his own son, Sohrab, both unaware of their relationship. Themes of manipulation, destiny, identity, and the terrible might of war are investigated in the play. It explores the human cost of political scheming and the terrible effects of misinterpretations. With its deep emotional resonance, "Man Hastam" is a meditation on the inevitable clash between personal honor and the manipulative forces that drive individuals to conflict.

Im Hussein and Im Elias decide to start an organization for young Arab Americans with the goal of projecting a positive image of Arabs. Their well-intentioned efforts lead to humorous situations, reflecting on cultural identity and community dynamics.

Guglielmo Speranza is a young man who, having just graduated from university, decides to ask his beloved to marry him, convinced that the most challenging period of his life is now behind him. This is how we meet the protagonist, who repeatedly addresses the audience directly to explain what is happening on stage. He always wears the same suit and, during the play, changes three beards, black, gray, and white (one for each act), symbolizing the transition from youth to old age.

In a miserable, freezing two-room apartment on the first floor of a building, the Ruòppolo family lives in complete poverty. Giovanni, a clerk, struggles against a thousand difficulties to make ends meet, while his wife, Cristina, takes care of the housework.

Two sisters reunite on the anniversary of the death of their father. Their uncle has remodelled their family home, in an attempt at a fresh start. But one sister's sudden reappearance threatens to shatter this fragile idyll as she demands justice for the pain she carries. Amid the debris and the new extension, guilt, grief and greed battle it out in the family's competing dreams of their future. When we are faced with the suffering of others, even those closest to us, can we look away?
