Richard Martin buys a gift, a new NDR-114 robot. The product is named Andrew by the youngest of the family's children. "Bicentennial Man" follows the life and times of Andrew, a robot purchased as a household appliance programmed to perform menial tasks. As Andrew begins to experience emotions and creative thought, the Martin family soon discovers they don't have an ordinary robot.

A boy who is kicked out of his post-apocalyptic camp is forced to try and find a new home, as well as, civilisation without being caught by the unknown beings that lie ahead.

Story chronologically starts and ends at the same place / with shot of the tree, hence the palindrome name/title). At the end of story, Peter comes to terms with loss of his family and hopes for better future.

While fleeing from an apocalyptic mist, Ana and Adam are forced to confront an eternal dilemma: to keep running or to cherish what's left.
