The Rocker

The tale of rock band KISS and their efforts to thwart a diabolical plan by mad scientist Abner Devereaux. Devereaux has found a way to clone humans into robots in his laboratory at an amusement park. It just so happens that he plans to use the KISS concert as a platform to unleash his plan on the world. KISS must use their special powers to stop him.

When the 1989 "one-hit-wonder" glam-metal band "Sonic Grave" embark on a trip to Coachella in hopes of a comeback, their peyote trip pit stop in Joshua Tree incites an "unworldly" vicious attack, and they must "rock" themselves out of harms way.

This concert program from the hard rocking band Clutch captures all the pared down blues inspired rocking of five of their shows, filmed in four cities during the course of a tour: Sayreville, NJ; Pittsburgh; Sydney; and Boulder, CO.

KISS fans have been largely divided into two camps. On one side you've got the purists who are fans of the original line up (Paul, Gene, Ace, and Peter), and may or may not tolerate any of the other line-ups (and if they do tolerate any of the other line-ups, they always preface any conversation with, "Of course, the original line-up is the only REAL KISS"). On the other side you've got the fans who want the best available players to play alongside Paul and Gene. They weren't really happy when the Reunion happened back in '96 as the Revenge line-up was incredibly strong and vibrant musically.

The acoustic album of the Brazilian band Charlie Brown Jr. broadcast on MTV Brazil. The album contains interviews with the band and the making-of video recording, and features music known to the public, along with new songs "Vícios e Virtudes" and "Não Uso Sapato". Premonition is a 1998 live CD and DVD by John Fogerty. He performs both songs by his earlier band, Creedence Clearwater Revival, as well as songs composed during his period as a solo artist. It was recorded with a live audience at Warner Bros. Studios, Stage 15 on December 12 & 13th, 1997. The CD version omits 4 tracks that are available on the DVD.

Undisputed masters of black metal Cradle of Filth bring their extreme vision to the screen on this home-video release. Cradle of Filth: PanDaemonAeon features the group's first music video, for the song "From the Cradle to Enslave" presented in its original uncut version as well as a documentary on the making of the clip and the chaos that is Cradle of Filth's existence.

The band Fugazi is documented over a period of more than ten years (1987-1998) through performance footage and interviews with the band and their fans. Director Jem Cohen's relationship with band member Ian MacKaye extends back to the 1970s when the two met in high school in Washington, D.C.. The film takes its title from the Fugazi song of the same name, from their 1993 album, In on the Kill Taker. Editing of the film was done by both Cohen and the members of the band over the course of five years. It was shot from 1987 through 1998 on super 8, 16mm and video and is composed mainly of footage of concerts, interviews with the band members, practices, tours and time spent in the studio recording their 1995 album, Red Medicine. The film also includes portraits of fans as well as interviews with them at various Fugazi shows around the United States throughout the years.
